I have chose basketball because it is a very active sport and I like the sense of the game.

Basketball originated in the deep in 1861 by James Naismith, a teacher in the usual physical training at school who could not figure out how to take their pupils. Naismith had been a good teacher, who wanted to create a game that excludes brute force. Naismith all the time perfected their game and finally put the five basic principles of basketball:

— For a basketball game needed a large and light ball, which is easy to fit in your hand;

-running with the ball in his hands is prohibited;

— The ball can own a player of any team;

— Physical contact players are forbidden, but the cluster of players allowed in any part of the site;

— The ring is at a high distance from the players. One most outstanding and memorable players in the history of basketball is Michael Jordan in the «Chicago Bulls» team. Now a new generation is dominant in the markets. But it only inflames the passions around this great game, forcing millions of fans with great interest to observe the interesting games of basketball great masters of one of the most popular games of our time.

I chose volleyball because it is quiet and at the same time focus on the game. And still, this game is very interesting and addictive to me.

In the course of game two commands compete on the special platform divided by a grid, aspiring to direct a ball on the party of the contender so that it has landed on a platform of the opponent (to finish to a floor), or the player of a protected command has committed an error.

Thus for the organization of attack it is authorized to players of one command no more than three contacts of a ball successively (in addition to a contact on the block).

The volleyball is not contact, combinational sport where each player has strict specialization on a platform.
The major qualities for players in volleyball are a spring ability for possibility highly to rise over a grid, reaction, coordination, physical strength for effective product of attacking blows.

There are the numerous variants of the volleyball which has branched off from a principal view:

    Beach volleyball (the Olympic kind since 1996),
    Minivolleyball,
    Park volleyball (it is confirmed by congress FIVB in November, 1998 in Tokyo).

It is believed that volleyball arose thanks to William J. Morgan, a teacher of physical education at one of the Holyoke colleges (USA). In 1925, the modern size of the court was approved, as well as the size and weight of the volleyball. These rules were relevant for the countries of America, Africa and Europe. In 1947, the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) was founded. Members of the federation are: Belgium, Brazil, Hungary, Egypt, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, USA, Uruguay, France, Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia. In 1949, the first men’s world championship was held in Prague, and in 1964 volleyball was included in the program of the Olympic Games in Tokyo. In international competitions of the 1960-1970s, the national teams of the USSR, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, and Japan achieved the greatest success. Since the 1990s, the list of the strongest teams has replenished with Brazil, the USA, Cuba, Italy, the Netherlands, Yugoslavia. Tennis is one of the most popular and highly paid sports. Every year, Grand Slam tournaments gather tens of thousands of fans in the stands of the courts and near the TV. The history of this sport began in the second half of the nineteenth century. It is not known exactly who invented the game, but it is assumed that English Major Walton Wingfield invented it. The first rules of tennis are dated 1873 year. At first, the game was popular only in UK and the USA, but since the times it has won admirers around the world. The most important events of the year in tennis are of course the Grand Slam tournament. There are four ones. The oldest of them is Wimbledon. It was first held in 1877. This is the only tournament of the series, which is held on the grass. Two more — US Open and Australian Open — are played on hard. Rolland Garros — a tournament that takes place in France, is played on the ground. There are also two team tournaments for men and women — the Davis Cup and the Confederations Cup.
